Tuna Melt Sandwich

Ingredients

NOTE: This recipe makes one sandwich.

- 1 can of Tuna (drained)
- half of red onion (finely chopped)
- 1 red chili (optional, finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp parsley/spring onion (finely, chopped)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (I’ve used Hellmann’s)
- 1 tsp mustard
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp Pimenton
- 2 thick slices of Artisan Bread (I’ve used white rye bread)
- 2 slices of American or grated cheddar cheese
- slices of tomato
- olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste

For garnish:
- crisps (optional)
- a salad

Instructions

  1. Brush your slices of bread with some olive oil and toast them in a griddle pan or in a toaster.

  2. Prepare your tuna salad by adding the ingredients in a bowl. Season with salt & pepper.

  3. Add the slices of cheese on one toast and let this melt in a pan/microwave (10 sec). Then add your tomato slices, tuna salad and top it with the other toast. Serve immediately and enjoy!
