Roasted (Purple) Brussel Sprouts

NOTE: This recipes serves 2 or 3 persons.

- purple Brussel sprouts (2 or 3 handfulls)
- garlic powder 
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp balsamic
- Parmesan cheese (grates, optional)
- salt & pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 200 C or 400 F.

  2. Wash and cut the ends of the sprouts and remove the leaves. 

  3. Toss them in the oil, garlic powder and season with salt & pepper. Then place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes.

  4. When the sprouts are done toss them in the honey and balsamic mixture. You can also sprinkle some Parmesan cheese to give them extra flavour.
