Oven-Baked Chicken w/ Cheddar Cheese

Oven-Baked Chicken w/ Cheddar Cheese

NOTE: this recipe serves 2 portions.

- 2 chicken breasts
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup Cheddar cheese
- cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- parsley (finely chopped)
- salt & pepper to taste
- oven dish
- aluminium foil


1. Preheat your oven to 190 C or 345 F.

2. Cut the chicken breasts in half and season both sides with garlic powder and salt & pepper to taste.

3. Place the chicken breast in a baking dish. Meanwhile, mix the mayonnaise with the Cheddar cheese and spread it over the top of the chicken. Finally, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and extra black pepper (optional) over the cheese-mayo mixture.

4. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake the chicken for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes, so that a crispy crust is formed.

5. Carefully remove the baking dish and serve the oven-baked chicken with pasta, rice, potatoes and vegetables.
