Asian Style Sugarsnap Peas

Asian Style Sugarsnap Peas

Ingredients
- 150 sugarsnap peas (remove strings and wash)
- 1 tbsp olive oil - 1 tbsp butter - ½ tbsp sesame oil - 1 tsp each: garlic + onion powder, Shichimi Togarishi (this can be spicy) and if you don’t like strong flavors, I suggest you start with ½ tsp each. - 1-2 tsp soy sauce - 2 tbsp water - salt & pepper to taste For garnish: - black sesame seedsInstructions
Heat the oil + butter on medium to low heat in a pan. Then add your spices (except for your water and soy sauce) and mix well. Increase your heat a little bit and cook the peas for 2 minutes. Then add your soy sauce + water and cover the with a lid. Let the peas simmer for another 1-2 minutes. Remove lid, increase heat, and cook on high for 1 more minute. Garnish with black sesame seeds and serve with plain rice or my Vegan Roasted “Chicken” w/ Oyster Mushrooms, Asian Style Lamb or
Fried Rice w/ Fashjong (Chinese Chicken Sausage).
