Apple Tea

Fruity tea is so easy to make!
Hot or cold, Apple Tea is so easy to make and all you need is an apple, ginger, cinnamon, vanilla bean and water. You can also adjust the sweetness and zing!

Hot or cold, this tea is a perfect beverage for any season.
This delicate tea is a perfect refresher when it’s cold and wintery outside or scorching hot. So enjoy it!

Apple Tea

Vegetables
Ingredients
- 3 cups of water
- 2 slices of ginger
- 1 pink apple (in slices)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 small star anise
- ¼ of a vanilla bean
- squeeze of lemon juice
- 1 ½ tbsp honey (optional)
Instructions
Place the ingredients (except for the honey and squeeze of lemon juice) in a pot and let it come to a boil. Then lower the heat and let the Apple Tea simmer for 5-7 minutes. Then turn off the heat completely and let it infuse for another 5 minutes. Add the honey and squeeze of lemon juice. Stir well and serve the tea hot or cold. You can add ice cubes an extra cinnamon stick or even honey to make it sweeter.
TIPS:
- Make this tea in advance so the flavours will be more intense.
- Use agave, maple syrup coconut sugar to make a vegan Apple Tea.
